I was feeling stuck this morning. It is Day 6 of a 30 day challenge I am doing. I have challenged myself to wake up at 5am everyday and do a 2 hour morning ritual. It has been life changing and I absolutely love waking up this early to start my day with intention and what matters to me most. But today, I didn’t have the same enthusiasm. I meditated. I tried to say my affirmations, but my heart just wasn’t in it. I thought about visualizing my future goals, but when I closed my eyes, there was nothing.
I texted my morning accountability partner (we text each other when we wake to help us stay committed): “I’m having a hard time with my practice today. There’s an elephant in my heart. There’s something I need to move through.”
I knew exactly what I needed to move through, I just didn’t know how to move through it.
The next step in my morning practice was exercise, so I went on a walk.
And guess what? On that walk, I literally MOVED through it. I realized that the thing that was on my heart just needed more time and that I didn’t need to figure it out right this instant. I just need compassion for myself at exactly the place that I am. Relief and warmth flooded my body.
We are nearing the end of autumn, the season of release and coming upon winter, the season of death and reflection. Maybe you feel these energies in your life. Sometimes, we get so excited about the new beginnings ahead that we try to rush the release or even skip over it, but that is not the nature of life. Just as the leaves fall in autumn and the trees lay barren in winter, our spirits must release, reflect and rest in order to be able to bloom again.
Maybe you are facing a physical, spiritual, or emotional challenge in your life that has you feeling stuck. Maybe you want answers now. But maybe your answer is to surrender to the unknown. Be okay with not knowing. Better yet, rejoice in it! There is great beauty in the mystery of life. If we knew it all, there would be no excitement, suspense, or surprise, and what joyous emotions those are! We cannot have the light without the darkness. Know that this challenge is a gift and an incubator for your next greatest success. Allow yourself the time to release what you need. Maybe you are releasing a relationship, a career, or an identity that you held dear. Allow yourself time to grieve and come to acceptance of this release. Give yourself the space to reflect and understand why it is happening and how it is growing you as a person. Instead of rushing to the next “answer”, love yourself through this release, and you will find the peace and the beauty of the unknown.
If you would like to move deeper into your relationship with the unknown and want to work with me to learn more about how you personally can surrender to the gifts spirit has for you right now, I invite you to take advantage of my new offering: Womb Activation 30 Day Immersion.
Happy SATURNday :)

The five of swords sees us feeling pressure from all sides today. Is life feeling a little sharp and prickly lately? Are you earnestly wanting to forget the past, put your best foot forward, and transform into your highest self? Maat, Kemetic goddess of Justice warns "Not so fast!". There is a conflict present in your life that you are trying to side step, but the truth is there are no quick fixes or shortcuts. In the effort to seek pleasure and harmony in our lives, we can easily get distracted by temporary fixes. Whether your vice is food, drink, drugs, unhealthy relationships, or the like, remember that these distractions will not result in the true balance you seek. Only when you face your limiting patterns and habits head on will you release them and transmute them into something new. Beware of putting bandaids over wounds that need more attention. If you are dealing with a conflict within yourself, with another person, or concerning your current circumstances in life, know that conflict is a natural part of life and highlights areas that need more awareness. Ask yourself what you are contributing to the situation. How and why are you entangled? Is there a lesson in this for you? What is at the root of this conflict and how can you change your perspective on this challenge so that it is an inspiration and not a hinderance? Be honest with yourself so that you can GROW through what you GO through. If you cannot clearly see what is creating the conflict, seek spiritual guidance from a trusted source to help you gain some clarity.
When I have been in some of my darkest places, my saving grace has always been turning my attention to the practices that make me feel most connected. Whether it is yoga, meditation, ritual, soul friends, plant medicine, or simply breath...the things that give my spirit space, that allow me to inhale the beauty of the present moment are always my medicine. When I am connected to my inner light, I feel myself shining brighter in the outer world.
I grew up feeling like I was the timid, shy, sensitive girl and as I've grown, I have realized that all of the things that I thought made me weak are my greatest strengths. My vulnerability is my wisdom. My careful words are my poetry. My sensitivity is my intuitive guide. Everyone has brilliant and unique gifts inside and it is when we embrace and love all of our parts that we can reach our greatest potential in sharing those gifts. Remember that no one is walking your path and there are no set rules to follow because you are a cocreator with the divine. The rest of your life is still unwritten. So tune in, connect, and ignite your soulshine. And never let the naysayers dim your light. They don't know you like you know you.

It is time to foster your creativity, which is synonymous with your life force and sense of vitality. The Mushroom denotes that expansion in conscious creation is well under way. Mushrooms grow in dark and damp places. Has a new concept, connection, or business idea come up for you recently? Or Have you been working on one for awhile, waiting for the right time and alignment to put it out into the world? As we approach the end of winter, know that the incubation period is wrapping up as we come into the renewal and rebirth of Spring. If you have been desiring or planning a big shift in your life, all of your thought and energy is well invested. Continue to hold space for your passions as the time for them to come to light is approaching quickly. Stay steadfast in your work and vision so that you are prepared when opportunity comes knocking...because it will.
These cards also ask us to be receptive to new relationships, connections, and forms of abundance. The shifts that are ahead will be facilitated by the connections you make so network and be social! Be open to support and seek to actively support others as well. You get what you give.
The tiger appears on the left to remind us to be confident in our abilities, ideas, and personal power. Your confidence and belief in yourself will grow your energy field and attract the exact connections you need. We all have a unique and very important purpose so do not discredit yourself or let naysayers bring you down. In the end, only you know how to walk your path because you are the one creating it.
This is a time for expression, playfulness, and connection. Wear and meditate on orange and red colors, but if you find yourself anxious or overly excited, balance it by working with blue.
